Music/Ocean track time (Trks 1-7): 1-hr
Total play time: 11-hours
Because iCalm players have an auto-repeat function, an extra track of 10-hours of silence have been added at the end of the music/ocean track to keep the listener from being awakened by repeating music. The architecture of the first cumulative 1-hour track is designed to slowly bring the listener down into lower heart rate and brainwave states and leave them there for a good night’s sleep. The tempos and orchestral densities do not bring the listener back up to normal waking states. This is left for the body’s natural function.
Ocean sounds have been used in this track for both masking of external noise, but also for the entrainment effect (our primary pulses speed up or slow down to match an external periodic rhythm).
